Okay, let’s talk about obsidian. This stone isn’t a crystal at all. It’s volcanic glass, made when lava cools so fast it never gets the chance to crystallize. It was born in fire and frozen mid-motion, which is exactly the energy it brings!
Obsidian is the stone I reach for when someone needs a bouncer for their energy field. It’s traditionally used for protection, for soaking up the heavy stuff you’ve been carrying, and for pulling scattered energy back down into your body. It’s also a shadow work heavyweight. Its mirror-black surface has been used for scrying and reflection for centuries, and it has a way of showing you what you’ve been avoiding. Gently...mostly.
How I’d work with it:
Set it by your front door and let it guard the threshold
Hold it while you journal through the hard stuff
Keep it near your reading or meditation space to clear the air between sessions
If it feels like too much, pair it with rose quartz or amethyst to soften the landing
The details:
Raw, natural, and unpolished, exactly how the earth made it
Every chunk is one of a kind, and you get the exact piece pictured
Weights vary (check the listing for this piece’s weight)

My obsidian crystal ball IS NOT INCLUDED :P
Caring for it: Raw obsidian is literally glass, so the edges can be sharp. Handle it with respect and keep it away from little hands and curious paws. Cleanse it with smoke, sound, moonlight, or selenite. A quick water rinse is fine, just dry it off well.
Crystals are tools for spiritual and energetic support, not a replacement for medical, mental health, or legal care.
